Press Release State Representative Uecker given “Watchdog of the Treasury Award” Miami Township, October 10, 2006: The United Conservatives of Ohio announced that Representative Joe Uecker of the Ohio House of Representatives 66th District was awarded the “2005-2006 Watchdog of the Treasury Award”. This award acknowledges Representative Uecker for “recognizing the Ohio taxpayer behind every dollar of state expenditures” and that “Representative Uecker understands the value of conservative fiscal and public policy.” The award goes on to state, “A healthier Ohio would surely exist if more legislators abided by their commitments to free enterprise, low taxes, greater efficiency in government and accountability to the taxpayers.”
Representative Uecker will be presented with the coveted “Watchdog” award at a reception later this fall in Columbus. |
